My thanks

I'm an avid reader and usually dormant on the net but lately got a lot of attention and help when I need it. My postings were under the subject: 4GL Puzzling reactions. One problem was caused by the unfortunate placement of the assignment and test statements between the construct and select statements. This fault made the system ask for the same input twice. The other problem was having data, read in from another db via a C function, distort the screen by wiping away some field names and delimiters. This was caused by "embedded '\\n' in the variables." My thanks to: Jack Parker, John Fontanilla, and Robert Minter. My request for info. on an Advanced 4GL class offered in the Chicago area was answered by Jon C. Vemo and Larry Stoumen. Thanks for the help. -- Art Cooper AT&T Bell Laboratories att!ihlpl!wd9aet 708-979-3049
