Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Mitja asked for an Informix tool like SQL Server Profiler to capture running SQL. Art S. Kagel said IDS 9.40 and 10.00 have such a feature and other versions need tools such as I-Spy or Server Studio JE. Another poster suggested onstat -g stm. Mitja, on Linux and 9.40, asked whether onstat -g sql or stm can run continuously. No answer was given.

Version and platform would be nice. IDS 9.40 and 10.00 have that feature,
for others there are separately available tools:
IBM/Informix I-Spy
Server Studio JE
etc.

Platform is linux and version is 9.40
onstat -g sql, onstat -g stm ...
Is it possible to run these statements in continous mode (which means
that this onstat is running and messages are printed while application
is running)?
