For those of you having problems with your logical logs when you try to recover, have a look at bug number 20392. If there is a problem with your tape drive (including pulling the plug out, or whatever), Informix will act as though it has written a complete logical log, when in fact only a partial logical log is written. Kind of scary if you need to recover... Theoretically this bug has been escalated, but the more people who complain about such a bug, the more likely it is to get fixed.... so if you have Informix Tech Support, you might want to give them a call. I believe this is common on all 5.0 (and before?)
