Remote Access
Hi All, We have a client server application using the informix database
on-line 5.07 and Power Builder front-end software. Currently, we have
i-star set up on server and i-connection 7.2 set up on the pc , it works
fine in the office enviroment, but we also like to set up one pc to be
able to remote access from home. We have not yet set the web site up,
but we can dail-in from home to use dbaccess and etc. How can we setup
on client PC which can remote access the database by using the
client-server way (which can run the front-end software). Do we need set
up a script on PPP or SLIP? Does anyone have done this before? Thank
