We are running Informix on HP-UX 10.2. > > Any suggestions? > > Hari > How about.. 1) make sure you have some bench-mark info about how your system runs now, 2) go single user, oncheck, level-0 backup, shutdown before you start, 3) make loads of notes as you install the new version, 4) don't overwrite your 7.23 installation whatever you do, 5) don't use any 'new' features until you're sure everything works ok, 6) if it doesn't work, either go back to your 7.23 system and restore the level-0, or you may have 'onmode -b' which would allow in-place reversion before going back to 7.23.
