Strange problem in my Report..

Gurus, I can't seem to solve this problem, so I am turning it over to YOU the INFORMIX community. It's pretty simple actually. This is what I am trying to do: my report looks like this: (the source compiles w/o error ) report xx() define cc record BankNo char, col1 money(12,2), . . col10 money(12,2) end record . . . ON EVERY ROW LET totalVar = col1+...+col10 THIS IS THE PROBLEM, TOTALVAR IS NULL!!!!!!! Thanks in advance for all assistance.
