Correct. CPU, OS, and IDS have to be the same. The only exception is that you can replicate between HPUX on PA-RISC and HPUX on Itanium because HP and IBM made the data types identical for that pair of platforms. You can replicate between heterogeneous server versions and CPU/OS systems using ER/GRID technologies, however. Art Art S.
