How about the UNLOAD command? unload to [flatfilename]select [whatever] from [wherever]; UNLOAD writes out a dbload-format file, by default using "|" as the delimiter. All you need to do is prepend the "unload to filename" on the front of your select. I have no idea if UNLOAD is available for SE or Turbo; we're using Online here. Cheers, Rich
