Re: onbar and legato

Hi David I had similar problems about 6 weeks back with IUS 9.13, Informix were saying it was Legato and vice-versa, I now have it working, my problems centered around setting up the pools, label templates etc on the Legato server. Once these are done, there are many more environment variables to be set on the machine running the IUS than the manuals seem to suggest. I have the following set: Normal Informix ones, i.e. INFORMIXSERVER,ONCONFIG,INFORMIXDIR etc NSR_SERVER = hostname of machine running legato server NSR_CLIENT = local host name running IUS/IDS NSR_GROUP = Name of group affiliated to NSR_CLIENT on the legato server setup NSR_DATA_VOLUME_POOL = Name of volume pool associated to device(s) available to legato server for DBSpace backups NSR_LOG_VOLUME_POOL = Name of volume pool blah blah for log backups (see above) There is an error file for the xbsa which is located in /nsr/applogs/xbsa.messages on my machine, see if you can find that. Also you can set a debug setting in the onconfig file for your IUS/IDS which gives more details of the problems.
