Checkpoints not in online.log

We're using IUS 9.14.UC2 on SunOS box. I can use onmonitor to force a checkpoint. It comes back and tells me that the checkpoint completed. However, when I look in the online.log file, it doesn't show up. It looks like the system hasn't done any checkpoints for hours. Our CKPTINTVL is set to 900 (15 minutes) and it shows checkpoints going along just fine, every 15 minutes, until they just suddenly stopped. We still have unused logs, and the system isn't even being used. Any suggestions?
