Sysmaster Question(s)

Hello all, I am working on gathering information that is found in the onstat commands but I would prefer to do it with the SMI tables so I can store it in a table and do some trending. I am currently on 7.30.UC3 on HPUX-10.20 and there are a couple of things that are really stumping me. 1. I want to know how many ready threads I have in the queue (onstat -g rea). Is this the num_ready field on sysvplst or is it the cumulative from a certain state in the systcblst table or am I way out in left field? 2. The other one is the length and maxlen from onstat -g ioq. The only length I can find is in conditions and mutexes and neither seem to correspond. Is there anywhere on the WWW/Books that these undocumented features are thoroughly "documented"? Any help/leads would be greatly appreciated. I have read most of Lester Knutsen's explanations on sysmaster and I would like to thank him for his work. It is people like him that still let me shampoo with Head-n-Shoulder's and not Mop-n-Glo :-).... Thanks for any help James

You may find it helpful. Note that Informix is ***deliberately*** not documenting some features on onstat. They think that someone will reverse engineer the product by looking at onstat output!!!
