Hi all,
When I send this DDL in SERVER1 :
'create synonym syntable_s2 for database@SERVER2:table',
Informix gave me error 761- INFORMIXSERVER does not match either
DBSERVERNAME or DBSERVERALIASES.
INFORMIXSERVER is set for SERVER1, how can I make this synonym to
another server...
IDS 7.22 TC1, NT4 SP3
Thanks...

In order for remote synonyms to work each of the servers MUST be
defined in each other's sqlhosts file, each service MUST be declared
in /etc/services on both machines, and each server's host machine MUST
be listed in the /etc/hosts file on both machines.
