How can I know wether log files are store in log1dbs1 or logdbs1 dbspace ?
Thanks
oncheck -pe <dbspace>shows the contents of the dbspace (in case of logical logs the log file
number).
Or you can query the reserved pages:
oncheck -prYou can map the first part of physical location to the chunk number.

Andreas

In the onstat -l (log listings) each log file shows its 'begin' address
which is the chunk and page on which that log file starts. If you have an
older release you'll have to extract the chunk number from the first three
nibbles of the begin address. In the later releases (10.00 and later IB) it
is explicit as <chunk>:<page>

Thanks a lot,
I ran 'oncheck -pe' on both dbspaces :
log1dbs1 contains log files numbered from 7 to 106 and logdbs1 contains the
remaining log files 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 107 through 300
Regards
Hi
As suggested by Andreas KUTSCHE I ran 'oncheck -pe' on both dbspaces :
log1dbs1 contains log files numbered from 7 to 106 and logdbs1 contains the
remaining log files 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 107 through 300
