The iem files are under /usr/informix6 while your INFORMIXDIR is otherwise.
My suggestion would be to always install everything under INFORMIXDIR and
to keep INFORMIXDIR under /usr/informix. This way, upgrading any
component would require the reinstallation of all the components in a
parallel directory and the resetting of INFORMIXDIR. For example, install
everything under /usr/informix/01. When a component is upgraded,
reinstall everything under /usr/informix/02. Then you can set INFORMIXDIR
to use the desired installation.
