Hi All,
I've got a question about setting upper/lower case. We are are using
ODBC from the client to talk to the informix server. It seems that
whenever I create a table say TEST with one column A as an int, I can
reference the table name in either upper or lower case(test or TEST),
but the column name is always in lowercase ( a ), whenever I try to
reference it as A, I get a message saying it doesn't exist, what am I
doing wrong here. Is there some kind of setting that I need to make on
the client or server that controls this. I've looked at the GLS stuff,
but I can't seem to figure out how to do anything useful with it.
When I use dbaccess to look at my server under the Nls section, I get
this back: NLS Capabilities and Attributes
en_US.819 Collating Sequence
en_US.819 CType
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance
Nick.
