INFORMIX SQL Language for IDS 9.40.
Something like:
SELECT *
FROM table
WHERE column & 1 = 1

Please qualify what you mean by INFORMIX SQL - is the legacy tools product
that you are talking about, or the specific SQL dialect understood by Informix
Dynamic Server, or, for that matter, Informix Standard Engine?
Also version info would not be bad...

It's a little complicated, and well and truly tied up with history,
but there is a product called Informix-SQL which is separate from the
Informix dialect of SQL supported by Informix Dynamic Server (and the
other dialects supported by XPS and SE). ISQL is at version 7.32.
What you're referring to is IDS 9.40. (And yes, there are banners frm
IDS tools that refer to Informix SQL that are part of IDS and not of
ISQL - just compounding the confusion.)

Those functions are not built into IDS. You can see whether you can
find BIT_AND(), BIT_OR() and similar functions - there are various
implementations around, IIRC. The fastest ones would be in a
diminutive data blade (a set of C code UDRs).
