PRISM & Sybase throughput problems.

Hi there, I am experiencing servere throughput problems with Prism and Sybase. For example, to read a table 223Mb table from Sybase and write it to a HP-UX system file it takes 4hr 54min, while that same operation with an interactive tool running on the HP box takes 1hr 24min. (Copying that same table to another table with select ... into...) takes 5mins, by-passing the client connectivity layer (in this case Open Client)). To bulk copy tha table takes 43mins. I get the idea that Prism does not set the Open Client parameters for bulk transferes optimally. Does anyone have similar experiences with Prism and Unix based RDBMS's (esp. with other RDBMS's)?
