Recently, we have been frustrated by using the new Informix Info center :-(. The search result page style is horrible to use . The great one was, all the search result link was organized at left side, when you clicked it, the detailed info was show in the right page ....., the left link page would keep and show what you have seen..... very good /easy to use .... But now all change to BAD design (IBM knowledge center style?) . Why we changed from good to bad? Thanks Frank --001a11c300a6e2899204f9d62379

Frank, thanks for the comment. We have forwarded your comment to the IBM Knowledge Center team. I recently delivered a presentation at the IIUG 2014 conference that describes the improvements of IBM Knowledge Center over the previous information centers, including new features in the search function (such as the ability to search across multiple versions of Informix information, or to save search queries). It doesn't look like the presentation files are online yet, so I can send the file directly to you if you'd like to see it (or to anyone else who'd like to see it). Regarding your comment about the search results, I think that the reason the search results no longer appear on the left side is because when you click on a search result now, the left side automatically updates to show you where you are in the navigation. To get back to the search results, you can click the "Search results" link at the bottom of the left side. I'd be interested in talking more with you to see if this helps to address your concerns, and to hear any additional feedback that I can pass on to the IBM Knowledge Center team. On the left you can get back to the list of results by clicking on Search Results at the bottom, you are correct though it is not the same! Yes, please forward to me as well. When looking at a search result please add buttons/use of arrow keys to move to the next and previous search results!
