What is the fastest way to search whether there exists a row from some table under certain conditions? (I want the search to stop as soon as I find one row). I know at least two ways. 1) select count(*) into i from table where conditions if (i>0) then it exists 2) select rowid from table where conditions if (sqlca.sqlcode!=SQLNOTFOUND) then it exists Any other ways? What is the best? Thanks for your time. -- Kevin
