I am told Centos 7 uses XFS filesystem by default.I am again embroiled in discussions on XFS vs ext2 vs ext4 with and without journaling. As this is above my paygrade, can I get some further pro's and con's of using XFS for my data chunks.

From my IIUG Presentation: XFS Meta-data only journaling Write journal before data Dual entry journaling to permit recovery if the modified data is never written Low overhead Good safety Art Art S. It works, it's stable and my recent testing (12.10.FC7W1) shows it has similar performance to ext2.
