Hi, We are using ID FC6 on Solaris Sparc. We got the error while applying logs to one of our RSS instance: Rollforward log file /u/ids_backup/llog_test192_d/NY-DB4_59_Log0000017479 ... function write log restore failed code 1 errno 0 Do you want to suspend (y), commit (n) or abort (CTRL/C) logical restore? We got into this type of problem many times (with different instances). May i know how can we avoid this and what is the reason for this type of issue. To recover RSS, we have to send Level-0 backup again, which is quite hectic effort. Thanks.
It's a bug in 11.50.FC6. First ran into it at a client back in May or June. Contact IBM for the exact fix, but IB that you have to upgrade to 11.50.FC7 or later. Art Art S.
