Re: Do I must buy "On-Bar" utility?

Looks like 7.3 is your magic number: ON-Bar communicates with third party Storage Management Vendor (SMV) libraries through the X/Open Backup Services API (X/BSA). Informix will provide a storage management utility called Informix Storage Manager (ISM) at no additional cost starting with the Windows NT 3.51/4.0 versions of OnLine 7.22 (YE96) and UNIX versions of OnLine Dynamic Server 7.3 (1H97). This would eliminate the need to purchase or own an SMV product in order to utilize ON-Bar. Customers may use ISM, which supports up to four streams of parallelism and simple tape devices or SMV solutions which provide additional streams of parallelism and support for tape arrays, autochangers, optical jukeboxes, and other fancy devices.
