The Informix version we are using is 7.23 FC4 on Digital Unix 4.0d. Did you move from 7.23.FC4 to 7.24.FC1? Does it has any concern before upgrade informix version to 7.24.FC1? Does it has anyway to use on-archive on 7.23.FC4 with Tape device TZ89? Regards. -----Original Message----- From: Ivan Lopes Junior [SMTP:ivan.lopes@rio.rsl.com.br] Sent: Monday, May 25, 1998 11:34 PM To: 'InformixList' Cc: 'informix-list@iiug.org' Subject: RE: _On-archive : tape device on DEC Hi, 1.You should use rewindable device. 2.What is the Informix version? I had a similar problem in 7.23.FC4 using TLZ07 tape devices and it was a bug (# 82373). It is corrected in version 7.24.FC1.
