Solarris 2.3 and Compiling 4GL

It's taking forever for our 4GLs to compile under Solaris 2.3. The programs can stay for hours in the 3rd pass of an i4gl object compile. The same programs compile relatively quickly und SUNOS 4.2 They compile but they take forever. Anybody else have this phenomenon?
