Is there a winner here (or a definate loser)? I don't know about Oracle support, but here in Scandinavia at least I have never got better support from any company than Informix. You should be aware that you set the priority. It goes from 1 to 6 where 1 is a case where production is stoped and you have to get it going again. In this case they will stay with you 24 hours a day until it works again. Obviously you have to be available all the time as well. If you aren't the problem can't be that critical. Informix also keep track of my support calls very well. It has even happened they call me back on something I have forgotten. They have generally been able to solve all cases in a swift and professional way for me. Informix support simply works and works very well.
