JDBC connection error

I'm having a production base that is not currently accepting any JDBC connection, the only message returned: Unexpected Error occured Attempting to open an SQL connection. When made the connection via ODBC down normally in the same instance I have other database that supports normal, suddenly stopped, I tried to grant new connections. Anyone have a clue, nothing appears in the log no sign informix
