Helo! I could not get your name but here it comes If your are coming out from Clipper and need some tool to let your interface with databases and INTERNET, I will suggest you evaluate Genexus. Genexus is an Intelligent Knoledge base system (more than I case), is developming sentecens look alike to FOX and may be familiar to you. I'm going to point you some features I like from it, I'm using it with my developing staff, and we make aplications to sell, so I need a good developing tool, for decreasing the times, and assuring the good quality code, so I can concentrate on service. 1. Genexus reduces the time of developing and maintenance 2. Let me prototipe the aplication 3. Makes for me the technical documentation and ER diagrams 4. Make and impact detailed list when I describe some changes on the database structure or procedures 5. It has a FEATURE TO MAKE WEB PAGES 6. When I'm done with the definition of the aplication, I can generate code for FOXPRO, VISUAL BASIC, VISUAL FOXPRO (beta) or even to a RPG400 for a AS400 7. Want more, it lets me generate a client/server aplication, with just changing parameters in the generation windows and there I have an aplication accesing INFORMIX, SQL-SERVER, ORACLE or DB2, this on an Operating system from Windows NT, UNIX, NOVELL or OS400.
