Testing validation tool

Hello all, Does anyone have a suggestion for a tool to validate data changes in a testing environment? Specifically, the testers are looking for something that will compare table data before the test (baseline) to table data after the test. No, we are not looking for anything that compares schema files -- just data. What they are asking for is something that is "a little more sophisticated than the 'diff' function as for instance, it allows to compare by individual table columns and produce summary reports". Preferably (from my point of view), this would be something that they can run on the server box itself. They have been using Princeton Softech, but new security measures have made it nearly impossible to use. Anyone know of alternatives? BTW, HP-UX 11.11, IDS 9.40.FC6X2, table data is pretty plain (no blobs, no UDT's). TIA, Paul M.
