I would strongly urge you to not do that which you are contemplating. The underlying concepts and architecture of Oracle are substantially different from those in Oracle and likely you will be lucky if it is just unscalable and performs poorly. To work in an environment with multiversion read consistency where reads don't block writes and writes don't block reads means recoding. Developers repeat after me: KaChing! -- Daniel A.
