CISAM 4.1 question

Hello everyone. In trying to compile the "Adding Data" example (add_rcrd.c) on pg 7-8 I'm getting an error, which indicates that I have an unresolved external function stdbl(). Has anyone else tried this and experienced the same problem? The index (cisam book's) says stdbl has 2 places I can look: explanation 3-10 syntax and use of 8-81 The explanation of 3-10 tells me this function stores a machine-format, double precision number in the data file record. Hmmmm. When I look for 8-81, I see there is NONE? In fact my manual is missing pages 8-81 through 8-104. Seeing that this is a bound booklike manual, it appears fully intact. Everyone else that has cisam must also be missing these pages? Is this true? Informix, can I get these pages? Or better yet, a complete manual, as I really would hate having these loose pages to worry about?
