This is probably nothing to do with the value of SHMBASE. Put it back to
what it was and read the release notes in
$INFORMIXDIR/release/*/*/ONLINE_7.2. Your problem is more likely the
kernel parameter settings for shared memory. Try the values specified in
the release notes and re-link the kernel.
