Hakan You probably come from an Oracle background, so you say schema when you mean owner, right? In any case, in Informix, a schema is related to a database, which could have tables created by different users. For example, if A has resource or dba priviledge (user informix has dba priviledge by default), then user A could create a table t1 by using CREATE TABLE "informix".t1 ..., However user A will no longer be able to drop the table, since its now owned by informix.
