Thanks everyone (I think?)

In a previous news posting I asked for advice on whether to purchase the rapid development system and debugger. I'd like to thank everybody who responded, everybody bar one advised me to go ahead and buy it. So I have done! I installed it today, everything seemed to work fine, it's really good not having to wait 15 minutes for a really BIG program to compile. BUT..... I then tried to compile a program using C4GL and I got the error:- Unrecoverable error, all undefined symbols have been dumped to the load map :- .fdate Oh no! Incompatability problems all ready! The software support company said that the RDS must have overwriten some of the libraries, and they advised me to re-install Informix C4GL. I have done and can now compile using C4GL, but have I fodged around the problem, and will I encounter more problems the more I use RDS. We are using Informix 4gl version 4.UE2 The RDS version which came says Informix 4gl version 4.UH2 - Is their any differences?
