Besides LRU, i would look at
OPTCOMPIND 2 # To hint the optimizeris this oltp?? then set it to 0 !!
PHYSFILE 102294 # Physical log file size (Kbytes)
i would make this bigger specially when i see how much buffers are configured.
(maybe to the max which is afaik in 7.3 2 GB.)
PHYSBUFF 32 # Physical log buffer size (Kbytes)would make this bigger say 128 or 256....
LOGBUFF 32 # Logical log buffer size (Kbytes)would make this bigger say 128 or 256....
RESIDENT 0 # Forced residency flag (Yes = 1, No = 0)
would set this to 1 or maybe -1 or -2
if the memory the db is using should not be swapped out.
CKPTINTVL 300 # Check point interval (in sec)
i would set this to 15 min's or 30...
