Long Transaction monitoring between LTXHWM & LTXEHWM ???

Hi, Could someone know a mean which permit to monitor the evolution of a long transaction when it is situated between the LTXHWM & LTXEHWM ? I already know that I can based my monitoring script on the ALARMPROGRAM and the informix trigger 22 and the status of the logical logs. However as I have never seen the concret case I do not really know what specifics values I have to monitor in the the logical logs or anywhere else in order to do what I want.
