The ONCONFIG file parameter TAPEDEV controls where the archive is written to.
The default on windoes, IB, is the value you are seeing. If you set it to a
file or a known archive device like a tape or DVD writer it will prompt you to
mount the 'tape' if the device/file is not removable or if it is and you
already inserted media into it, then just reply 'y'.

Hi,
Thank you for your help. I'm sorry but now I'm going to make a really newbie
question. Sorry but I couldn't find the answer yet.
The problem is: I am using Windows. How do I do a level-0 archive using
Windows? When I try to use ontape, I get the message:
Please mount tape 1 on \\\\\\\\.\\\\TAPE0
But I just don't know how to do such a thing in Windows!
