The poster asked how to capture transaction counts per hour or day in IDS 11.50.FC8, since onstat -x only shows currently active transactions. Replies suggested reading the commit and rollbk counters from onstat -p, sampling them at the start and end of each interval (optionally using onstat -z to reset), or simply sampling onstat -x periodically. Another contributor noted the built-in scheduler task that snapshots sysprofile at a configurable interval (default ~15 minutes) into a sysadmin table, viewable as graphs in OAT. The poster thanked the group.

Hi,
In IDS 11.50.FC8, how can we capture transaction count per interval as hourly
or daily? The onstat -x only provide active transactions at the moment.
thanks

You can look at the commit and rollbk output in onstat -p.
Collect the starting values or onstat -z at the beginning of the day/hour and
check it again at the end of the day/hour.

There is a task already defined in the scheduler for this version to copy the
sysprofile at the interval you define. Makes pretty graphs and everything.
I capture every 5 minutes. I think the default is 15 minutes. The results are
stored in a sysadmin:table. You can push them to anything or use OAT to view
the graph.
