Message-ID: <3047@amethyst.math.arizona.edu> Date: 15 Aug 91 19:27:38 GMT Sender: news@amethyst.math.arizona.edu Organization: Lunar & Planetary Laboratory, Tucson AZ. We used Informix database on a Charles River system some years ago and when the owner recently bought a Sparc Station he called informix and asked them to sell him the functional equivalent to what he had (ACE, PERFORM the who nine yards). He finally got around to installing it and "it" doesn't appear to be complete. I suspect all he got for his bucks is the "sql" front end... not particularly useful by itself :-(. Anyway, he's been trying to get in touch with somebody there, tech support sales support ... Anybody and no luck, generally on hold for 10-15 minutes before he gives up. So, now to the question... Is this typical of their telepohone support? What kind of experience have other Infoirmix users had Please email if you'd rather not clutter this group, I guess this isn't really a database query.
