INF4.1 -1 ERROR ?? problem

HELP !!! We have just started getting a new error which is described nowhere in the INFORMIX literature (whats new): -1. This happens when we install our package on UNIX . In one of our package-installation-scripts we start tbinit and straight afterwards try a drop database in a 4GL program. This gives us an error -1. Any ideas ?? Is it something to do with tbinit not being quite finished ? Thanx in advance Andi Rigs.
