I tried this orginal script under 7.30.UC3 on Solaris 2.6 and got
the same problem.
select from * from table
can see two rows with col1=1 col2=3
select from table where
where col2=3 and
col1!=1
returns 0 rows!!
Hence in the table I can see 2 rows.
0 fail to match
1 matches
???? Bug. Looking in the Techinfo Centre on Informix's Website I
cannot see a similar looking bug logged. I will log it tomorrow as
we use temp tables and it could afect us. Please logg is as well....
