Max Characters SQL Statement

Thanks in advance At this point, Russell, no one is certain (check out Jonathan Leffler's reply to "What's the maximum number of columns in a table?"). There used to be a 32K limit but that is being raised in the 7.3x series and later, however, it may be 256K or 2GB or unlimited now. Anyone in Menlo Park or Lenexa lurking about want to research this one, besides Jonathan, give the guy a break, eh! Art S. Kagel

Hopefully, this (arbitrary) limitation is being lifted in later versions.
