Tuning kernel for Pyramid Nile

We are running Informix ver 7.24 on a Pyramid Nile 100. I would like some suggestions for proper kernel tuning for Shared Memory and Semaphore parameters. Informix has given us some very vague suggestions but we are still having problems. We typically have about 175 users doing transaction processing. We have 1 gig of memory.
