I've come across this before (Informix 7.2x on HP-UX, but I expect
it's the same issue as you're seeing).
What I think is happening is that Informix can't perform logging
on a dbspace created with -t, but your database has logging
switched on - so Informix creates the table elsewhere so that it
can log it. (Strange reasoning - I know!)
If you don't want to have to use "with no log" on all your SQL,
then you can drop and recreate your tempdbs dbspace without the
-t option. You can still use this dbspace for temp tables.
Personally I've never used the -t option because of this
downside. Is there any advantage in using it?
