Backup problem

I have an 8 GIG database on an HP UX 10.2 machine with a 12 GIG tape drive and I am using 2 tapes (120m) to do the backup. The problem is on the time which is an 1hr 30min when the database is in quiescent mode and 3 hrs when it is online and someone has to be there to change the tape. How then can I improve the speed and at the same time use one tape. below are the parameters settings that I have. Please help.
