Using recycled bits, Jose Miguel Giraldez blurted out: % %Hi: <tongue firmly in cheek> %As in my knowledge Informix does not develop products on Novell %enviroments. %Would you like to comment why?. Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows! %What do you think about the bundle of Oracle with Novell. Somebody had I think the name "Novacle" sounds pretty cool and rolls off the tongue much more smoothly than "Oravell." Granted, Novacle also has that delightful glottal stop and Oravel is much more of a labial, but you get my drift, I'm sure. </tongue firmly in cheek> Perhaps Informix desired to limit the number of platforms they had to support? With 5 or 6 major *NIX vendors and a multitude of release and patch levels, it's an understandable position. Oracle running on Novell is another of example of "anyone but Microsoft." -- Kurt Wall Informix on Linux FAQ - http://www.xmission.com/~kwall/iolfaq.html Spanish Translation - http://www.xmission.com/~kwall/iolfaqsp.html
