There is a new version of the FAQ out... please check for mistakes.. Note the tar and bziped version has been updated (thanks to Art for locating tar for me!). Also Arrrgh! I repartitioned my machine to install Redhat Linux and I've lost all my e-mail/docs! For some reason windows could not longer access one of my 3 hard drives which was the one which had the 'SAFE' copy of everything on and was the only hard drive I was planning to not touch. Anyway in the end the SAFE copy hard drive windows got not see any partitions on and Redhat though it had two Linux partition on it! So it got scrapped and Redhat 6.0 got put on it. Finally I have two hard drives seen by Windows and two by Linux, with one overlapping used to copy things to Linux. The only problem currently is that my brand new primary hard drive (UDMA/66 27.2Gb Maxtor) cannot be seen by Redhat. Oh well... if you ever sent me e-mail it's all gone...Arrgh! **** Art, you were going to send me something (??) **** Ron Flannery. Please e-mail me so I know I'm not forgotten... PS The latest FAQ was safely on my ISP's site with my CV and I'd finished adding all the potential updates (over 100) so no FAQ stuff is lost. Can people please review it so that I can get it out to the IIUG?.. I'm planning to check the Problem Identification Worksheet on Informix's site to see if I need to add anything about raising questions here but apart from that and updating my personal details this is done and ready for review.... I just love hardware, don't you ;-) Nice thing about software, if you lose it you can always blame the hardware, but when you lose harware can you blame the software? Hmmm... > if you ever sent me e-mail it's all gone...Arrgh! > > **** Art, you were going to send me something (??) Was I supposed to? My memory's going.... What's the URL David? Art S. Kagel
