The problem was a different release level on Online and Star. The Informix support sent us the correct Star-version and everythings works well. But this must not been the reason for your problems. We have also some machines where the versions of Online and Star differs and everthing is working fine. Try to reinstall Online without Star and look what is happening. Hope that helps...
