Hi, Can someone give some help about managing tasks over sysadmin? In the past I have used OpenAdminTool, but now I don't know how to do it. thanks for any help, SP
Hello Sergio.
Since you did not mention any specific task, I would suggest you this manual
page, which is a base for all DB scheduler on sysadmin.
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSGU8G_14.1.0/com.ibm.adref.doc/i
ds_adr_1079.htm
Obs: dbaccess or any visual ODBC / JDBC query editor you choose will be able
to access and change data, according to your specific needs.

Hi Alexandre, Thanks for your reply, my question is about controlling tasks and specify specific hours to execute them. Because I am verifying that some of them run on production time and sometimes I need to deactivate scheduler.
Hi Sergio. Now I see your real problem. Well, unfortunately sysadmin ph_task table does not have this kind of "forced stop datetime" field. Please note that the tk_stop_time is only the datetime ending for start of the task, not a forced stop timing. From the docs: "tk_stop_time datetime hour to second Time of day after which the task or sensor cannot be scheduled to be run. The database server schedules the next execution on the next valid day. Default is 19:00:00. Can be NULL, indicating no stop time." But, good news is that you can open an RFE for this, I would definitely vote for it, would be very good for automating tasks around the internal scheduler. HTH Best regards Alexandre Marini
