ODBC connection from Windows to Linux

Hi again everybody, I installed the CliendSDK Ver 3.80(32bits) on a Windows XP Professional PC My server is Informix Dynamic Server Version 7.30.UC11 on Red Hat Linux 9 (Intel Pentium IV box) . I tried to make an odbc test connection from Win XP, but it doesn't get connected, displaying "User Password is not correct for the database" and in the online.log : listener-thread: err = -952: oserr = 0: errstr = : User ()'s password is not correct for the database server. I am really sure that the password is correct, so I guess it is some configuration problem between Linux and Windows, I think it has something to do with my server using shadow passwords.
