IDS 7.30 do not start - NT

Hello, i have a problem with the informix database. It is on WIN NT4.0 with 512 MB memory. the service don't start. Try to reduce BUFFERS down to 65536. Thus BUFFERS will occupy half of your RAM.

The NT system was new installed, and the pagefile was not the same size as before. We only have buffer 5000. I don´t know why Informix need "Requested shared memory segment size rounded from 1215568KB ...". the onstat -p list 30 MB memory. now the Database comes up and we have the next problem. "oncheck -cc" list error " Validating systables for database verlag ISAM error: Unexpected internal error" I think our Raid-5 was not working correct. Is there any posibility to work on with this DB-Files, or we have to make a restore. Andreas

Please send also your onconfig; sounds like something has changed since last reboot???? > 12:04:10 Requested shared memory segment size rounded from 1215568KB512 MB available and requesting 1215568KB??? hopefully this is not caused by fast recovery...you may want to check OFF_RECVRY_THREADS in your config file... if huge then it may cause the problem. if none of that is true you may want to restore or phone TS to have your system hacked. sounds bad; and restore time... what is in the online log file and the af.xxxx files Superboer.

Hallo, the NT installation was made new. The informix-Server was installed new. the log-file and onconfig was restored and the database chunks was restored (not with informix-tools). I think the backup of the database chunks was not correct, i made it not myself.
